In 1802, the park and Gardens were landscaped by Humphry Repton, much praised for his natural use of the grounds . Were he alive today, he would still recognise (and be justly proud of) his handiwork.
Nestling in the grounds is a splendid group of early farm buildings, dating back to 1780 and now home to the Estates Office and the Bloomsbury Stud. Nearby is the old Dairy, completed in 1900 and a graceful addition to the landscape.
Surrounding the Abbey, the Farm buildings and the Dairy, you'll find, in 3000 peaceful acres, deer roaming free and many rare and specimen trees
